France, The country of Snails, Eclairs and Baguettes!

Spent 17 years of my life in there and I was glad for every single year. Especially since I lived with Mum.

A bit of our surroundings.

Now, What you have to understand is that I lived with my Mum in a house in Vouthon, a village that is located in Poitou-Charente.

And our home is good nesting grounds for Swallows and Kestrels.
This is one of those little trouble makers.

I am merely joking when I say trouble makers (Except when I have to clean the Terrace stone outside with their poops. I don't really mind that much.)

In fact, it is always adorable when the little Kestrels start crying to their parents from a hole in the wall of our house.

Thought another aspect of our region is that we have several Grape farm nearby linked to the production of Wine.

The Forest of the Round Table

Now along with my mum in Vouthon, we visited a few places around France in my youth till now. One of the most recent places we visited was the forest of Broceliande while visiting one of my Mum's cousins.

Now, This is not just any forest in France, but this one is know for a few tales linked to the backstories of important characters of the Knights of the Round Table.

Those Characters would be Merlin, Vivian, Lancelot and Morgan la Fay.

Now, the tale linked to Morgan La Fay was about one of her first love with a knight as a young maiden.

However, one day, she stumbled into her lover being having an affair with another lady. Not really a wise decision from the knight as Morgan cursed the knight and his lover soon after.

Another Tale linked to this forest is actually linked to the Lancelot origins as he did come from royality. He was the son of King Ban of Benoic and Queen Elaine of Benwick. However, due to the death of his parents, he got abducted by the Lady of Lake, Viviane and raised him as her own.

I am happy to talk about my country of birth but I feel we should talk the other countries. Let us go to Spain.
